Dr. Julianna Ko received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry, where she discovered her love for periodontics. She completed her residency at University of Southern California, where she received a Master of Science in Biomedical Implants and Tissue Engineering.
Dr. Ko believes that the most important step in periodontal treatment is patient education and disease prevention. She enjoys teaching her patients and working with them on developing a treatment plan suited to their individual goals and health history.
After practicing periodontics in Southern California, Dr. Ko decided to move to the east coast with her husband to be closer to her family, who live in Delaware. In her spare time, Dr. Ko enjoys spending time with family, cycling, rock climbing, and exploring the outdoors.
